Orca Attack Seal with Waves

In January 2006 while visiting Antarctica, we witnessed a most unusual method for orca to dislodge a crabeater seal from an ice floe - they made large waves to wash the seal off the relative safety of the ice. Later the orca put the seal back on the ice and dislodged the seal a second time which suggested strongly they were training their young.

Some of the people on this video were getting really annoying with they're "OH NOES!" "POOR SEAL!"...this is mother-fucking-nature - kill or be killed....stop being such pussies....of course they'd be so sad to see a seal die by orcas but do not put in on thought about how many seals and other marine life die every year due to bycatch and nets by humans.
