  • that bass sounds warm, thick n rich!

  • pure blues , what a great feel and power

  • @mielazul Hmmm, we both may be right. Robinson and King both played guitar on Koko's only live album, although Robinson is given lead credit. Thnx for the follow up. Koko Taylor LIVE FROM CHICAGO: AN AUDIENCE WITH THE QUEEN (Alligator) 1987 Koko's only live album, recorded in front of a wild hometown audience. Grammy nominee. • @heyjustathought Hey, thanks for responding. I've been looking into this more since I last wrote here, and I came up with the name Eddie King. He played for Koko at the time I saw her (1986) and he played a hollow body electric. So that might be the one...but I haven't looked into "Mr. Dynamite" Robinson though, so I'll follow up on that. Thanks again.

  • @mielazul Frustrating. Knocked out too. I've only been able to find his name, Michael "Mr. Dynamite" Robinson. No story or even a bio. Maybe somebody knows something? Links?

  • Been searchin Koko Taylor clips on youtube to find out who was her guitarist in the mid-eighties. He made a big impression on me when I saw him (and her) at the Chicago Blues Fest. He played a hollow-body, and man, he sounded good. Can't find the info I want, though. Anyway, good raw blues is still alive. Check "Rosetta West - Underground."

  • WOW! Double WOW!

  • I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE

  • @Oldspirit189 I was born that way, whats ur excuse, old fool?

  • Hey... That's Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee sitting in front there. Look when the shot pulls back. Dis too cool!
