This music gives me a feeling that can't be captured by words... it kind of feels as if my stomach has dropped out... makes me want to weep and burst out laughing at the same time.

Tremendous tune , so evocative of the time the melancholy of the sad clown meets Randall and Hopkirk or Jason King. Enough pretentious tosh! Best british film ever!

Apparantly the soundtrack now comes with the 20th Anniversary DVD, so i would imagine it would be more available from download sites etc! Or you could just buy the DVD! Hope that helps soulscreach.

Unluckily the score contains only the D.Dundas and the R.Wentworth original pieces. Not to say, they most convey the original feeling of the film. But you won't find the Hendrix and other pieces there.
The other day I almost bought the original sountrack vinyl from ebay. Oh, why didn't I? Six pounds!
