Agreed. The Rock is in a more "centralized" location as people from Central Jersey who have never been able to get to the Meadowlands may attend a game at PruCenter and find an interest in the team.
Also, don't forget that many of the Devils fans of the 80's are having kids and their families are getting larger... And that means more fans.
The Devils get plenty of support considering the Rangers had a 60-year head-start.
