Reporter flies on F-15 combat mission in Afghanistan

A reporter flies along with an F-15 crew in support of French ground forces fighting the insurgency in Afghanistan. Ground troops call for a GBU-15 bomb, but because they target is close to a school, they must settle for two (very effective) strafing passes.

None fighter pilot question an indication from a FAC (Forward air controller). That guy is ON the ground, he knows what is and what is not near the target, he perfectly knows the bombs and their effects, when to use them and how to use them. It's his job.

I saw this video with fighter pilots from NATO (British, American, Italian and Ducth) and ALL of them said the same: it's just a reaction because the presence of the reporter.

French guy probably got mad and he was right!
