In 35 years, threre is only ONE recording of this piece that can equal or barely out due this spectacular showing by Sumi Jo. Ileana Cotrubas, with Raymond Leppard and Kiri Te Kanawa on EMI.....which was out of print but is still available at outlets for a little bit more money than when first released. Otherwise, no one touches this performance!

LOL, according to the Korean subtitle in the beginning, it's a Mass in a minor. hahaha... Anyway, yes, she's a FABULOUS singer, definitely one of the most technically accomplished singers of ALL TIME. She truly has perfect legato and coloratura. Thank god for Decca for recording quite a bit of her.

How is it that Sumi Jo's "Et incarnatus est" gets 33,000 views in 3.5 years, while Susan Boyle's "Britains Got Talent" gets 93 MILLIONS in 1 year???
I love Susan, I am glad she got such success, but I am sure she would agree that, weighing their quality and emotion, Sumi deserves even more.
