This was the same closing theme used by WKBW-TV in Buffalo, NY on Dec. 31st, 1998, Irv Weinstein's final newscast before his retirement took effect in January 1999.

Anyone who was or still is from the Western NY area or outlying areas of Northwest PA will remember the bad lake effect storm from that night.
