Its hard to imagine what went through her head besides being pain as she is laying there. Most probably "this can't be over, not now. I've worked too hard for this."

@IsMackinac Our culture is amazing. No one forces them to do this. They do it because they are strong, determined, confident, and brave. They understand the risks and day after they take them. I take them. We know that we could get seriously hurt ANY day. And still we have the heart to go out there and do what we love.

A little kid allowed to risk her health like that until the inevitable happens. All of the grown-up sitting there watching it happen. Your culture is as sick strangely oriented as the ancient greeks, who also marveled at athletic feats.

ik town that is I broke my ankle in gymnastics and then hurt my hip really bad and it still gives me problems even tho its been two years...I haven't done gymnastics since. my mom won't let me :(
