When we stopped at tthis Days Inn in Cullman, AL, we didn't quite know what to expect. We were quite surprised to find a good bargain where the room was very comfortable. There was wi-fi and there was a nice breakfast on the morning we left.
The town seems pleasant with maybe one restaurant, at least on the road we stayed on. It's called Johnny's Barbeque and looks like one of those places from the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
Theres only a few nice places to stay here in cullman. But there are alot of multi-million dollar homes around if you look for them. Next time your up this way ride to Terri Pines, There are some extremely nice places in that area. Just bc its Alabama doesnt mean its a bunch of racist hillbilly rednecks......

They have a Days Inn in Cullman?! All I see when I drive there from Atlanta to my Smith Lake lakehouse is a Wal-Mart, Lowe's, and a few fast food places! I guess I didn't give this town enough credit. It's bigger than I thought.

Never eat at Johnnys barbeque!! One of the waitresses assaulted my friends infant son when she was trying to breastfeed him! They threw her out when she was merely trying to feed her baby. There are laws protecting her and they had no right!
