First flight in 7 months.10MPH wind 63 degrees and patchy sky. At 300' found huge sink. Soon after the bite throttle cable broke. Landed on the back side of a hill in near zero wind.
An interesting fact. Once I landed I could hear the motor idling but while flying I thought it had stopped. The next time I will not assume that it's died but instead pull the throttle cable first. Food for thought.

I had a similar problem with my Mosquito 'Gob' throttle. Glad you landed ok and fixed it. Don't forget to retorque the RedHead cylinder bolts. Pete
