@Tramainea This might sound naive but I actually took M's jumpiness as a good sign. I believe that M is cool about B being a lesbian as a concept. Going on the double date for example, M didn't see the chemistry between B and her potential date so it was cool. M is a good person, if she wasn't attracted to B she would have felt bad and maybe a bit uncomfortable, but would have stayed and been not "jumpy".  But M ran... Why? cause B's attraction exposed M's. So M had to run away to deny.
