A clip from the SOPA debate around 6PM December 15th, 2011, when Jared Polis describes one of his amendments, which draws attention to the astronomical resources required to apply SOPA to the pornography industry.
Out of curiosity, though this will generate a little irony, does the United States own copyrights to live video streams from congress meetings?

Not all porn is owned by corporations some is owned by persons.
What of their rights?
Then again.. What is the difference between the copy right of a mainstream film and an adult film? Justify all you want it simply boils down to 2 points and they are said right at the end...
1- Going back and explaining that porn is being helped in anyway would risk loss of votes
2- infringement on the copy right of porn is a large dimension of the copy right issue.

@kcossin He is talking about SOPA, not those in the industry in general. Since Porn is a large consumption of internet usage, it would become something a lot of the money used for SOPA would go to, something a majority of people dont want invested security in, especially during times in which money needs to be used more careful.

So, if this guys doesn't want resources spent to defend pornographers, does that mean that you could punch a porn star in the face and not fear consequences, because taking action against that person would cost resources defending a porn star. This is stupid.
