yea i was listening to my ipod the other day and thinking about that ,i own the same album on both formats ( mp3 vinyl ) and the vinyl is dead quiet inbetween tracks where the mp3 almost sounds like it had surface noise . love your tt btw

Great wee deck the Planar 3.See you know a bit about isolation,have you heard a RB300 that has been to J7 at Audio Origami? He will rewire and sprinkle some magic dust over it and you will not look back!Add a Tecnoweight,new belt,oil the bearing and if you can stretch to it,the motor upgrade...............blow you away it will,nice sounds BTW!

hi.thanks for that.i've not heard of audio origami.i'll check it out though.i have heard about the origin live mods though.i've since added an ortofon 2m blue,sounds fab.

ha,too true.i've always said that if you put a correctly set up turntable against a cd player of the same sort of value,the vinyl will smoke it every time.
