The difference is that in the cases you mentioned, it is still a part of the person, has their DNA. Once conception occurs there will be no changes genetically, it is already a genetically unique individual. All that changes is size and level of development.

@EnvyNumber3 An unborn baby can suck it's thumb, breathe, has a heart beat, can kick, can hear, can recognize her/his mommy's voice, can think, and can feel pain. Sperm can't. Also a woman masturbating does absolutely nothing to her eggs, only male masturbating gets rid of sperm. A person's life begins at conception.
