@SovereignStatesman I really didn't know that. Somehow I just wish people could get it together and go to school and save up money for times like natural disasters, but people do what they want to do obviously.

It wasn't just that; Mayor Noggin and Governor Blanco not only failed to follow procedure, they REFUSED to allow the federal government into their state to help!
Then they BLAMED the federal government for the consequences!

Yeah some people are too dumb to live ABOVE sea-level... Norleans just put them all in one place.
You can't feel sorry for them though, after they RE-ELECTED Mayor Noggin, the guy who didn't follow evacuation protocols, but just made EXCUSES why he couldn't, and blamed the federal government!
Clearly, they got what they asked for... and VOTED for.
