@SmashFury you can't parry any of the command grabs i thought. and so i guess red parrying is just for that stage when it would be unwise to parry stuff and you're just seeing what moves opponent is using and then during the block you intuitvely guess what is going to come and decide to get the parry in order to recover faster.

@maxgunn555 all the red parring in this video was done to showcase a level of skill, because nothing forces you to red parry it. the only difference between a blue parry and a red parry is that a red perry is a parry done while you're blocking a combo, which means the initial hit of the combo could have been parried and not blocked. remember, all moves can be parried (except for gill's seraphic wing, regular throws, and a few characters' command grabs)

when you were dooing the red parrying. did those moves had to be red parried or could the be normal parried? ty

So epic :'(
-
red parry is a parry from blocking- the opponent has you in some kind of block string and you manage to find a frame where you can let go of block then parry, and your character turns red instead of blue

What difference is there between normal parrying and red parrying? Can some one explain me please? And how do you do this red parrying?
-
You never see much red parrying in matches.. seems like a near impossible thing to do in the heat of a tourney match, plus if you mess up it's not worth the damage you'll take.

Yup. Only thing you can't parry is Gill's Seraphic Wing SA.
at 1:30, it looks like akuma is slapping Chunli's crotch and butt :P

Props for letting Akuma take a few hits throughout the vid to demonstrate that auto-parry isn't on.
