When you are celebrating it traditionally, why not delve deep into the rich treasure trove of Bangla songs for the special occasion? Call me traditional or outdated, but Bangla songs would be my first and last choice for a Bangla wedding. Hindi songs are good too. But those can be set aside for a more appropriate time.

Weddings are expected to exhibit local tradition, culture and customs. A Bollywood dance number in a Bangladeshi wedding may be glorious for India, but disgraceful for Bangladesh. A Bangla wedding song would have been in order for the occasion. I'm an Indian.
