Nick: *grabs his stuff and reaches for Sels before she did and leads everyone out the door*

*at Jakes and Frankies school*

Sel: Ok, see ya later, guys. Ill come pick you up, later. Well go for ice-cream before we go home.

Jake: *hugs her tight and runs off, laughing*

Frankie: *pulls Sel down to his level and kisses her cheek* as long as i get vanilla, i dont care. Bye, Selly *runs off after Jake*

Nick: *watches them go before turning to Sel*

Sel: *takes her stuff off Nick and walks off ahead of him before he can talk*

Nick: *Shouts* Sel, please wait! *runs to catch up with her*

Sel: *keeps her head down as she walks* Not now, Nick. Whats done is done. Stop trying. Youre getting nowhere.

Nick: Ever think that im the kind of guy thatll keep on trying.

Sel: Then whyd you quit on yourself and take it out on Demi?!

Nick: so maybe i was stupid and childish. It was years ago, Sel.

Sel: Its Selena. And whatever you did managed to scar her pretty bad, seeing as shes still scared of you and for me.

Nick: *holds her arm gently and pulls her to a stop beside him* Sel, i really am sorry. Im nothing like your mother, I used to be but Ive changed. Im the guy you thought you knew, ok? Its true, i gave up on myself, but please dont give up on me.

Sel: *looks at him, instantly regretting it*

Taylor: *Comes up behind her and wraps his arms through her arms, hugging her from behind * Hey, Sel. Havent seen you in forever! Hows life?

Sel: *laughs* Taylor! Whats up? *puts her hands on his arms and strokes them as a sign of greeting*

Taylor: You know what i havent done in ages? *lifts her up and swings her around*

Sel: *laughs, forgetting the pain he was causing* TAYLOR!!! PUT ME DOWN!!!

Taylor: *stops and places her on her feet in front of Nick* Oh... Nick.... Uh, Sel, you were just talking to him?

Sel: *looks at Nick seeing the jealousy and hatred in his eyes, not knowing what to decide to say* yeah, but its cool. Come on, were gonna be late for school *tugs Taylors arm, linking their two arms together* Bye, Nick *looks at him for a last time before leaving with Taylor*

Nick: *waited until they had turned the corner and ran through the bushes, eavesdropping on them*

Taylor: *doesnt realise* what were you doing talking to Nick?!?! DANGEROUS!!!

Sel: *doesnt know either* Yeah, i know all the rumours, Tay.

Taylor: And you still hang around with him?! Sel, dont.

Sel: Tay, its ok. Nicks not who i thought he was.

Taylor: Really? You mean you arent crushing on him anymore?

Sel: *Rolls her eyes* please, i was never crushing on him... *Sees Taylors face* ok, maybe a little... *looks at Taylor again* Fine, a lot. Would you stop hassling me?!

Taylor: *laughs* so you dont like him anymore?

Sel: *shrugs* i like the him i thought i knew but thats not really him at all. So, no.

Taylor: what happened between you two? I mean, that made you so pissed off with him? You guys were like inseparable.

Sel: He told me the real him. Hed been lying to me about who he was and what he was. I fell for the guy he was pretending to be, then i realised it was all a fake.

Taylor: *unlinks their arms and puts his over her shoulders, comforting her* See, thats why you should never date the guys i tell you not to *grins*

Sel: *giggles* please!! I never dated him. Plus, knowing you, youd hook me up with the ugliest, nerdiest guy in school and takes photos of me suffering just to make yourself happy.

Taylor: *chuckles* eh, youre close...

Sel: *laughs* you know how to cheer a girl up, Tay *hugs him while walking* Thanks, youre a pal!

Taylor: *hugs back* I know, just so amazing arent i?!

Sel: *sees their school and Demi sat outside, lets go of Taylor and runs up to Demi hugging her as she knocks her backwards onto the grass*

Nick: *stops and turns to see Sel run up to Demi laughing and smiling, scurries closer to hear what theyre saying*

Sel: DEMI!!! IM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SORRY!!!!!!

Demi: *laughs and hugs her* for for for for for for what????

Sel: *laughs* for not listening to you about Nick.
