I don't mean to be an old nerd here but, house was pretty sophisticated by '90 and certainly by '92 what we hear today was already well defined. The Strictly Rhythm and Nervous labels were great examples of this but keep searching because this was really a golden period for U.S. underground, 'till about '94, and these smaller labels were full of gems like this.
