On February 17th 2009, at the height of the new jersey primary season in the governor's race, I was stopped on the streets of my hometown of Englewood, NJ and asked to comment on the state of the state and it's upcoming elections.
This is the report later that evening on NY1 television news, including my comments, which came true on Nov.3rd 2009, as former federal prosecutor Chris Christie unseated the incumbent Governor, the one term former Wall street Banker and CEO of one the past power houses on wall street Gov. Jon Corzine.
As I related then I was unhappy with his performance as governor, and I thought that as he was 'a part of the problem' of the eventual collapse of the banking system, he should be retired through the ballot box. And so my fellow voters of this great state felt the same way.
And by the way I am a registered Democrat as is the now ex-governor, so in the voting booth on that day I too crossed party lines and I think New Jersey will be the better for it.
Now Governor Christie....PLEASE clean-up Bergen County, there is scum here that needs scraping up and discarding. Many here as in other parts of the country in offices without term limits, does what it takes to get into elected offices and holds onto it like a Pope...thinking it's a job for life, blood-sucking the green backs from hard working 'working stiffs' while spending like it is theirs to waste, and/or pocket....Anthony DaCosta
Thanks for your service Jon Corzine.
great video, are you still glad you voted for him? so far most of America is treating him like a rockstar

I heard Laura Ingraham today on the radio and I couldn't agree more when she said-
"When Obama was campaigning New Jersey on the whole gave the Obama cause a big fat wet kiss"...
Well ???
Whaddya 'spose Jersey says now ???
When the dems say these republican gains were NOT about Obama they are disingenuously ignoring the heap of nasty rotten fish laid squarely on the doorstep of 1300 Pennsylvania avenue...
