Sad to see anyone like that, but its even worst to see a person that seem like a good guy. Pray for him people!!!

I'm handicapped and on a fixed income. I stayed in a medical homeless shelter and living with panhandlers and drug addicts pretty much has ensured that I have no sympathy for them anymore. I've been homeless and I hate them. Sorry, it's just the way I feel.

i went on a mission trip to chicago yesterday to give lunches to the homeless, and i met this man. he was a very nice man...

I'm not so sure I believe Ed when he said he doesn't have an alcohol or drug problem. And I really don't believe his account of how he became homeless. A man doesn't leave his own home, because his woman has another man in his bed! If anything, she would have been the homeless one! By Ed's own admission, he has been homeless for 3 years! Clearly he has some bigger issues he is dealing with.

I don't think so... I think he was pointing out the fact that some people who use drugs dont realize they have a problem... in turn they assume some homeless people are using when in fact they are not.
