  • In that score you mentioned it didnt include the bass notes for the classical guitar arrangement. I do know that it was written for a violin and there probably wasnt any in the original composition so i was just wondering how the versions Ana and You played came to include them. Are notes in the beginning of certain measures simply played with a deeper octave to attain the bass line or was it composed perspectively by the performer.

  • In this video I did not add basses. I play strictly original score (just transposed), I play the mentioned score !

Ana plays with basses lines added. We know that adding basses lines was made at the Bach time, then some guitarists adds basses notes. When we want to add bass notes there are 2 problems:

    - Add basses balanced all over the score,

    - Play the tempo (because basses lines complicate playing),

  • When it does not add basses there is also a problem:

    - The guitarist has to ring the full guitar like a violin.

    It's just a personnal choice.

  • ¿como puedo encontrar la transcribcion de esta obra?

  • Hello, you can find this score on the CitharaVox website, in "Transcriptions".

  • Beautiful performance. A bit too much echo in the hall, but the guitar sounds wonderful and the performance and interpretation are brilliant. I hope to see more of this guitarist in the future.

  • @GuitarGalabert I think maybe Ana just played certain notes an octave lower, making those notes stand out more as the bass parts that they were intended to be in. Don't think she added a seperate bass line. But I can't tell for certain. Either way this arrangement u play sounds just as full.

  • This and Ana's version are my two favorites

  • Ty very much sir i was going to pointlessly plee on the root video to inform me on where to get the music

  • just unbeleivable tecnique and sound !
