My grandfather worked for ASMcP (who knew he smoked and drank) and we both knew Vernon Gortner (erstwhile father of Marjoe Gortner -- google his film sometime). This is the same old story, from Aimee to Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Bakker, and Ted Haggard. Hypocrites, frauds, charlatans out to make a buck fear mongering. People forget she died from an "accidental" overdose despite the fact her kidneys were failing. Where was her healing god then? Pffttt.

ms Aimee Semple McPherson was a tramp that staged her own drowning and then ran off and had a love nest with a married man , two men died trying to find her body in the ocean in california . then she lied about it and claimed she was kidnapped LOL . she was a tramp and a murderess in my opinion

My Grandmother a preacher who was affiliated with Ms. McPherson was the most amazing woman I have ever known and I know Aimee was NOT a whore...She was a human being with frailties just as all of us (yes even born again christians) She was a woman with more guts than most. Shame on you!
