Just putting these out here to remind everyone how hip hop/rap, when used in the right way, can be some of the most powerful mediums to influence change.
i always thought rap was about a culture ? yep one that wont work for a living n chooses to sponge off the state ! ERM nothin artistic about lazy bastards spouting meaningless crap to sampled music !!
These songs are ok at best when dealing with the issue of racism check out my list of top 6. 6 because that is my favorite number.
1. Clear Blue Skies by the Jugganaughts. This song takes the form of an argument between a white kid and his father about his sons desire to date a black girl.
2. "Who am I? by Chino Xl. This song deals with Chino's mix identity and how he was treated badly by both blacks and whites.
