  • Where Can I Get This Webstie. For The Dj Computer Thing.I Want One.

    -Thanks.(:

  • @MattyHighamEG it allows you to set a start point of your own. so it doesnt have to be at the beginning of the track maybe in the middle or at the start of a chorus

  • @nlavs LMAO!!

  • @mrndlprsnr The whole leap in technology has been good in some ways, but has brought a kind of tacky cheapness to the whole scene? it's one of the reasons i still love mixing vinyl...and buy records all the time...I love it's unpredictable nature, and the raw sound ya get ; ) I still argue that vinyl sounds richer and fuller than digital files, but that's another debate for another time.

Anyway thanks for the DJ tips man...I never stop learning !

  • what does 'cue' button do?

  • @HitchHikersBlues with technology the way its moving so fast we wont have to get out of bed to dj! there are some touch interface only dj tools or the eks otus. is the way towards the future. its awkward to use but when you get used to it it becomes natural. it is expensive

  • @HitchHikersBlues honestly what works is what suits you best. go to your local store and try stuff out. they should help you out and if they dont go somewhere else. where i went to the guy went through everything with me and gave me a discount. i could give you an opinion but it may not suit you. happy djing

  • @mrndlprsnr Thanks for you're help man!

But I've changed my mind. I'm now gonna buy a the Numark N4 Digital DJ Controller or the Reloop Terminal Mix 4.

They are a lot easier to setup and map to software, and i don't need an additional sound card.

What do you think about my decision ?

Are these controllers the way forward ?

  • @franksie79 you need soundcard or you can get an external/outboard mixer. its all the same

  • @HitchHikersBlues are you setting up a virtual set-up and wanting to use time coded vinyl? if so you need a souncard. soundcard into mixer and into computer and it should work though you may have to reconfig in vdj i have been djing for years and i switched to digital but still have both. you can work it out it takes time
