From djc463: "I use lingq.com to learn foreign languages. This is just a brief testimony showing the results that are possible using lingq. Sorry for any mistakes, it was last minute and unprepared, but that way you get an authentic feeling for my abilities."

  • That sounds a great idea. I look forward to checking it out when its completed. Cheers!

  • @Vacher12 This is my new account. I'm currently in med school and am super busy, but I want to make another video just to talk a bit about New York in the languages, then I'm going to make a video (maybe series) in English talking about what tools I find useful/unhelpful, and things that I want to try out in the near future. This may not come for a couple of weeks due to my studies (although I still find some time for languages every week).

  • @alejonsu This is my new account, and for the most part I learned them one at a time (from a beginner stage point of view). But I'm still learning things in every language that I studied, so in that sense I'm learning them all together!

  • Fantastic video. Very inspiring for us aspiring polyglots and language learners. May I ask what specific resources you used and what method you used to get the level you are now? All the best. Marc

  • I am native Spanish speaker, Your Spanish is very good, very good. Keep it up man. Awesome. Did you learn one at a time?

  • @sprachbegeistert Definitely not. Don't use lingQ as your sole resource. I use it as one of many sources to get materials to practice. But books, and native speakers play a large part of my learning process as well. LingQ, wordreference and googletranslate are my favorite websites though for language learning. And I'm enjoying learning German, but I'm still quite new to it and sound pretty awful :)

  • Why are all of these people freaking awesome?

  • Respect to fellow American polyglots!

  • Wow, this was really impressive. You learnt all that just by using the LingQ website? Actually, I signed up for the site too a couple of weeks ago but haven't really found the time yet to familiarize myself with how it works. Seeing what you have managed to do, I might go back there sooner than I had thought ;-) Again, congratulations on your language abilities. Greetings from Austria and, of course, good luck with your German. It is a nice language, too.

  • @djc463 you forgot to mention that you are awesome...good job :D
