@sambedard i no its a long time ago, but could u may help me? my mouse is not charging, i founf an old one, but it's not working, i opened it and checked the battery, but its still not working.

mine was doing this exact thing. I moved it to a different plug in the apartment and it's charging now. I think the power strip's filter was stopping too much current.

remove the big pad and the 2 lower pads under the mouse to unveal philips head screw. Unscrew them. Gently pull up the top of the mouse,be careful there is a wire connected to the top part. Remove the battery and plug it back.
You may also clean your charge station. Mine had some dirt in it.
Sorry for the late answer if you haven't already fix your prob but I just fix my mouse at the moment and I would like to share my solution with other. I also considering buy an replacement g7 mouse battery
