I installed Windows Vista on my HP NX7400 (Win Vista Capable) and after a while it started crashing just after start-up, while running Y!M and FireFox. It happened EVERY TIME after a system boot, as you can see from the "Windows Has Recovered ..." dialog. Bottom line, Vista is not yet stable enough for me. My lappy came with WinXP and it's gonna die with WinXP.

  • this is why i have ubuntu 11.10 the hipsters of OS's

  • @Triffgits um thats where your wrong, cunt. i have a laptop what says Designed for XP (no WIndows Vista Compatible) and vista is runningon it like a charm.

    Think before you say, cunt.

  • @ExpoKazoo They'll slap that on anything that can be shoved into a computer in some way or another. Truth is that no, it isn't windows Vista compatible, it's a computer that has been built and manufactured for an outdated operating system, and just had a "Vista Compatible" logo slapped on as an after thought.

    Think before you say, cunt.

  • @Bjornmollebro Yes

XP with it's outdated graphical interface and fisher-price UI

fuck XP fanboys, it wasn't good when it was new, and it's still just as bad today, no matter how hard you try to modify, improve, and mix it up.

  • Good thing letting it die with XP, XP is the best operating system ever. Oh and let us not forget Windows 7.
