  • Hi chris thanks for your comment. The video is about 35 min long.I change nitrile gloves before i set the glass and activate the glass and body with primer, the tip is a v notch and i trim the backside of the tip so it despenses urethane just like 90 degree angle.setting the windshield by hand is fine as long as everthing is clean.Keep up the good work.Customer safety is my #1 concern and wish there was some regulations in the industry.Good luck to you in your quest.

  • Now that's a KNIFE!! Nice

  • ive always wanted to know how to replace a windshield

  • It's interesting that I found your videos. Because today I just busted the sliding back glass in my S-10. How hard would it be for me to put in a new glass piece? What's the best way to go about doing it?

  • do you know if changing the windshield of opel corsa 1995 is like that also? I heard in some car it is almost impossible to remove the windshield with no crash. I would like to get a used one from another opel, but I should take that one also out on myself and replace it with the broken one.

also now the weather is very cold(in Finland), do i need to leave it in a warm place for some hours until the glue be dried or it s not necessary?

hope to hear a happy reply from you :)

  • the molding is already attached to the new windshield. the edge of the windshield sits on the urethane and the molding sticks out about and inch to cover the gap.

  • my only question is, wtf was wrong with the old window? looked fine to me.

  • My question is... does it leak ?

  • This job isn't done like it should... cutting the old PU with a longknife.... Touching the new windshield with your hands... Is that allowed over there? Better would be to shoot the PU on the glass so the link will be only at the bottom of the Windshield...

  • good job. hey chris can you make a vid of you doing it cos i want to see you do it better!?

  • mike i'm also an installer and you did nothing wrong..dont listen to mr wonderfull cris..
