design and made in italy, alstom is one of stock holders.
-
@gibb1991 Sorry, but this currently IS an Alstom train.
-
@amitnarayankar Ther Pendolino's are in service way before the APT. And the first Pendolino (ETR401) has nothing to do with the tilting tech of APT. IT was a FIAT technology.

@gibb1991 Sorry, but this is an Altom's train.

@gibb1991 Soory, but this is an Altom's train.

HAHA It became a Chinese train< CRH will be better than any train of the small countries< Because the small countries develop so slowly like France Italie Japon
-
@bracket2000: CRH didn't purchase any models from Alstom. They purchased high speed units from SIEMENS (Germany), Shinkansen (Japan), and the new Zefiro trains from Bombardier (Canada).

italy was the fourth country to make HSR -ETR 500 X (319km/hr) in 1988 after japan, france and germany. ETR 600 r made in Italy. Italy took the tilting tech from britons(APT) and became champions in tilting tech with pendolinos.
Wrong. The CRH5 is based on the italian ETR600/610. They are built in Savigliano (Piedmont). The "French company " (Alstom) bought the former FIAT Ferroviaria, the former manufacturer of these trains, rebranded it Alstom Ferroviaria and now uses italian patents to make either ETR600/610 or CRH5. So, yes, Italy makes high speed trains. P.S.: Italy had the first HST EMU: 203 Km/h in 1939 (170 Km/h in commercial service).
