Joe Anglin speaks out on Bill 50, a highly controversial Bill that seriously erodes the ability of the Alberta Taxpayer and consumer to advocate against construction of immensely expensive Power Transmission Lines that benefit private corporations, even though the Alberta taxpayer will be expected to pay the bulk of the cost.
The AESO is no more independent of AltaLink, EPCOR and Alberta Energy than Alberta is independent of Canada. Back room deals among these players go on all the time. The export of electricity from Alberta to the U.S. is going to cost Albertans dearly, because we are being asked to pay for the infrastructure.

I've seen Mr. Anglin's presentation live and he is very convincing... so much so that I have heard cabinet ministers in the Stelmach government have called him 'dangerous.'
I wonder if he is so 'dangerous' why these ministers won't go head to head with Joe in live forums, but criticise him behind his back.
Like Joe Anglin, or hate him, the fact that government doesn't address his points directly says something interesting to me about his message.
