t, but i do know that the japanese, god bless them, have been making graphic novels for a long time, and they are similar to books that you make decisions as to where they go, everything you said abotu heavy rain made me think of graphic novels, but i do know that they are usually more fictional than the rest of the stuff ppl read or watch, so there, just wanted to say that not only this game depends on decision making HEAVILY, regarding endings, bad endings (dying or losing) and replayability

pretty interesting talk about the game, i heard of how it was and stuff but i couldnt get it, sadly, i notice u keep saying something about getting a similar game, now in the realism, i doubt there is, i mean the way you make decisions is more "real" than any game with decision making, at least, until i play deus ex and make sure of the claims that its affected by how you act

The only thing I did not understand was Ethan's schizophrenia. He was hallucinating about drowning and dead bodies before Shaun was kidnapped. He was also making origami figures before Shaun was kidnapped. Ethan's schizophrenia was constantly discussed and developed in the game. And it never goes anywhere. After the fourth trial, his mental instability is never brought up agian. I was really wanting to know more about Ethan's mental illness. But I sill love the game
i loved indigo prophecy i thought it was wicked and heavy rain was great and really intense but i have to admit i liked indigo prophecy more

Hi :) to get things st8 , i loved the game! i'm 22 and the game made me have fatherly feeling for the boy so... yeah it got under my skin :) just wanted to point out a possible plothole or i could be sth i missed so enlighten me if y can :P. its about the part when ethan has his blackouts and end up with an origami in his hand. turns out to be completely disregarded in the later story... and as far as i remember ethan (when being conscious) had no clue how to fold one. its minor but here y go :)

@markos18thess this, i believe, was simply meant to throw you off, BUT, it is explainable. he has the blackouts because of the head trauma and he is guilt ridden over the death of his son. that side of him obsesses with the origami killer to the point where he believes he is the one killing all these children after what happened to jason. the mind can do amazing things, it isn't a stretch that if his subconscious believes it, he can make the origami figures during his blackouts.

@markos18thess also, lots of people talked about the fact that he always ended up at carnaby square, and always had a dog in his hand, which was the killer's favorite origami. BUT, we are only shown two blackouts, when he has been having them ever since coming out of the coma. there's no telling where he ended up during other blackouts, and we didn't need to know, as they only needed to make the carnaby square connection to help throw us off. it worked on me the first time, i'll be honest. lol
