in my opinion he's one of the greatest singers i have ever heard. great range, and amazing intonation from both him and mike portnoy( which btw is the greatest drummer in this planet) when they sing chords together which is almost in every song.

i think people hate on james too much because critics need something to criticise. in my opinion theres nothing about these musicians(john myung, john petrucci, mike portnoy, jordan ruddess ) that you could criticise so james is targetted for any little tweak he makes..
