  • I absolutely love this game. I don't know how we came into possession of it, but not only is it fun to play, this memoir throughout the game puts the icing on the cake. Listening to Hammond as you travel the island was an awesome idea, and the voice of Hammond is so fluid and calming that you just love to listen to it. I feel so bad for him, though, that so many years and effort only ended in failure due to a few miscalculations. Awesome game and, movie, and book!

  • replayed the entire game just last weekend :D, freaking awesome. Really awesome pc game and revolutionary for it's time, And guys hating it's said that this game can be compared to that of crysis in our time, that's how revolutionairy it was.

  • Shouldn't this memoir come before 6 since it talks about building the park rather before the dinosaurs were freed into the wild?

  • I love this game too.

Shame they didnt "finish" the whole game.

Read somewhere that they didnt finished ? I mean, they did MUCH more to the game, but they decided to drop it, due to too long time....What a shame...

  • You know it is entirely possible to recreat this with the source engine (doesn't have to be crysis engine......). Of cours the true problems lay with the fact that there is no such group trying to do so at this time.

This due in part to how few people know/knew about this game. Sad this game wasn't finalized. The memoirs alone are pure audio gold.

  • @mowingthefrontlawn I ended up getting a new computer that is way faster and thankfully plays the sound to it but thanks for the reply anyway!

  • @wafflemonster2 I realize you wrote this comment a year ago, but I'll reply anyway. It's possible that you had the same problem I did. In that case, you could get sound by installing a patch from the TresCom website called ATX that fixes the sound error.

  • @HUNDOLOS well i saw 9,999 and i thought i had to wath it to see

  • Yup, JP3 was terrible. And Crichton's original 1990 novel is far better than any of the derivatives. But it's still one a hell of a franchise, as evidenced by this amazing game (the best JP game, in my opinion).
