I want to first say that I enjoy watching your videos on handgun shooting thank you. I just bought a Kimber 1911 CDP full size, I have fired a total of 900 rounds through it had some 20 FTF's also I am hiring the target around 6&7 o'clock below the black at 25 yards. I am working on my trigger control and getting uses to The re oil Of The 45 ACP. Advise please comment.

@JetMechMA Also, most bullet proof vests cover the front and the back, but not the sides, so you're exposing the part of your chest that isn't covered, AND lining your organs up for billy the bullet.

This dude looks wicked chill. I would definitely go to his shooting classes.

Agreed! Also, I just realized that LEOs and Military will most likely be wearing a ballistic vest of some sort that will cover the vital organs when facing a threat straight on but it will seldom cover the area around the armpit.

Ahh I see why he's turning it, if you try that stance, notice how your (imaginary?) gun has the irons off if you're keeping it vertical? you need to cock that slightly so you can get the sights back.

@JetMechMA true but unlike standing with your full chest out square on your a smaller target
I can tell he got annoyed when he said it doesn't have to be sideways like how African american gangsters stereotypically hold their pistols.

At 2:10 there, he's right. I've read that it's better to face your enemy straight on because if you get shot sideways a single bullet can pass through multiple vital organs, any of which could be fatal. Straight on, there is much less of a chance to hit a vital organ by a single bullet. There are plenty of videos here on Youtube proving that point.
