This is the first "organized" transmission of a reply to Mary Cappello's call to awkwardness. Signals and messages came from the Ether with specific codes linking them with Cappello's video. More are being received by the moment; other transmissions will follow and be directed to the appropriate primate subject.

The awkward panel of judges has chosen DJackson's transmission as the winner of our awkward video challenge. A book and t-shirt will be sent to the filmmaker if s/he sends a postal address to my email address or to my youtube account. HOWEVER, because this video response was so INSPIRED, we also thought we'd REOPEN the AWKWARD VIDEO CHALLENGE with the same terms. The conversation has just begun! September 15th will be our new end-date.

I crawled out of my own ether to view this film: the uncanny fact being that I had to udergo surgery recently, so I can't believe that a nurse filmmaker has taken up the awkward video challenge just now. Is mammalian grace awkward because it is a defense against the predatorial forces in the world, and especially where "female" grace is concerned? This video is beautiful, complex, and I greatly appreciated its art.

A remarkable organization of transmissions from the ether. I remember D'aughtrice from my childhood, long before she went to nursing school, when she was just a tyke herself, gracing the big screen with her elfin companion, Mathieu G'Arberre.

Oh, this is so fantastic! I will be emailing my information ASAP (I must attend a MAB evaluation-retreat in the wild for a few days). The messages from the Ether implied that the transmssions would not be lost on Cappello or Walton. I will make sure to send out signals alerting the Ether to hasten further communication.
