yes there is a parry system but in that system he still blocks as well, if you press forward square early he just holds the stance with his blade up and blocks the attacks he also can block and parry while in mid air if didnt happen to you yet while playing

I found nothing wrong with the game.. just wish it was a bit longer.. perhaps a part 2 will be even more extreme

if anyone of you choose easy difficulty, dont use assist-mode!

with this you never lern to block/parry.
