once they find water on the moon at any cost, it will be a stepping stone to travel to mars and so on. they are not just having fun there they are working on something important ok? and u said it "we are not going to live on it anytime soon anyways" for the future generation to "live" on it they have to start the work from now on. it does not happen over night
