X From Outer Space Ending

The heartwarming message learned from the monster Guilala... scientific exploration is wrong, and races shouldn't mix. What that has to do with a giant Chicken attacking Japan is anyone's guess.

The blonde is Peggy Neal, who

also starred with Sonny Chiba (of Street Fighter fame) in a piece of 1966 cheese called "Terror Beneath The Sea," aka "Water Cyborgs".

Also, the ending of this one resembles the ending of "Gammera The Invincible," where they launch Gammera into space with inside a rocket.

Fun movie though, and I've seenit many times on TV as a youthin the 70's, and sometimes you have to have a bit of cheese with your movies now and then :-)

This was a delightfully sappy ending! A friend & I used to argue that Ms. Neal shoulda wound up w/ Sano, and Michiko & the caucasoid scientist paired-up instead! Oh well, what did we know back then? I was under the impression that Nikkatsu had produced this one (I'm confusing it with "Gappa The Triumphian Monster"/"Monster From A Prehistoric Planet", whose production values were on the same par here.)
