Newt Gingrich Slams CNN For Questions About Ex-Wife

http://www.neuroticy.com/ - Sparks flew on the stage of the CNN debate in Charleston, S.C., Thursday during the very first question. The charges, however, were not directed between the candidates, but between former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and debate moderator John King.

King asked Gingrich to respond to allegations by his ex-wife that in 1999, Gingrich asked her to have an open marriage with him.

"Would you like to take some time to respond to that?" asked King.

"No, but I will," responded Gingrich, receiving loud, sustained applause from the audience.

"I think the destructive, vicious, negative nature of much of the news media makes it harder to govern this country, harder to attract decent people to run for public office. And I am appalled that you would begin a presidential debate on a topic like that," he said.

The audience gave Gingrich a standing ovation.

The reason Clinton was was impeached was not because he got a BJ, It was because he was - to use your terminology - NOT Presidential material. He proved that to the American people when he received a BJ in his OFFICE - where he was supposed to be doing important stuff... like leading our country. @Warrkhann I think the point is not finding out but more about why only ask these questions to Republicans? Media knew about slimeball John Edwards and him cheating on his wife who was dying of cancer but never said a word during primary. John Kerry's KNOWN horrible breakup of his marriage. Also the way they defended Clinton and started to attack Lewinsky by saying she was crazy, a stalker, etc, etc UNTIL she produced a stained dress.
