Thanks, but this is a collection of photo's over the year or more. We are blessed with plenty of fish and the strongest bag limits, and restrictions to ensure sustainability of our fishery. 35% of the Great Barrier reef if protected.

@Homebrew1981 ahah mate you dont know what you are talking about, spearfishing is the most sastainable way in catching fish- there is no by-catch. It takes skill to be able to spear fish and even more skill to be able to do what these boys have done here. as greg has said here, you do have to be fit and able to hold your breath for a long period of time, i do alot of spearfishing myself.

@Homebrew1981 Spearfishing is not as easy as it seems. Why don't you try it? maybe it will give you a better well-versed opinion on the wonderful catch these guys have had over more than one trip.

Some great fish over numerous spearfishing trips, Not as easy as you'd think, but Good spearfisherman can clean up. Definate skill to it, and you have to be fit,
Cheers Greg

I don't understand y people think spearfishing is so easy. I do both I spearfish and rod fish the both are challenging. What the people caught in that video was amazing to stop talking and try to spearfish and then tell me something.

Definately not as easy as it looks, Mick is a gun, and gets some great fish spearfishing, I'm happy just to get the odd Coral trout!!

You have much patience with people who commented. But it is a shame to kill such beautiful fish.
I also fish but catch and release. (rod fishing)

We don't do much spearfishing, and I do to prefer to release unwanted fish, as we mostly do rod fishing, and some of the best reef fishing on the Great barrier Reef. This is taken over numerous trips and shows the great variety of fish available. We fact some of the toughest bag and size limits and 35% of the Great barrier reef is now green zone (no fishing), so even better long term fishing,
