This technique of the week features champion Ricardo Almeida, a Renzo Gracie Black Belt. Ricardo explores the fundamentals of the reverse De La Riva guard. He shows the proper positioning of the guard and transitions from the right to left leg which leads to a drill. From this position Ricardo shows how to take the back.
This technique is good for blue belts and up and is a great tool to get a different perspective on the three dimensional game.
