While the fast cars, fast women and a life of decadence seems to be the norm in Miami, Juanky Faraldo, lives in another world, far away from the limelight. Waking up every morning to face his reality, the hardworking trainer of South Miami Sports Performance knows he's putting everything on the line. He could care less about the South Beach neon lights. He is looking for a brighter light that can bring him success and stability, but that can only be achieved if he succeeds as a trainer in the world of the fastest growing and most brutal sport in the world, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). His shots to success involve fighters that even though they share the same roots, they couldn't be more different, bringing a constant conflict of styles and situations.

One of the fighters of Hustle's Show Miami edition is Jorge "Gamebred" Masvidal, a talented cocky ladies man, always in a constant battle with Faraldo, the seasoned trainer who is trying to be a mentor to the aspiring contender. Can this kid from the streets of Miami capture the most coveted achievement in mixed martial arts, he has a title shot in one of the largest organizations ahead? Gamebred pales in contrast to the experiences of Alexis "The Exorcist" Vila, a veteran of many battles in international competition, doing whatever it takes to win back time. This Cuban defector is constantly surprising both fans and his opponents with skills uncommon from a fighter supposedly "over the top". Faraldo is willing to give his best to train this charismatic and talented fighter. In Miami Hustle, this former Olympic medalist will get the chance that was taken from him by a communist dictatorship while willing to risk his life, again, for something he believes was meant to be his: A championship belt. And Liberty.
