http://modelrr.oakviewresources.com/ This is a 5 part series where I paint a test backdrop using an airbrush. It was a great learning experience for me. I definitely learned what NOT to do when I finally do paint my backdrop on my model railroad.

  • What brand airbrush and compressor are you using?

  • The Airbrush is a Badger 360. The compressor is a Central Pneumatic compressor from Harbor Freight.

  • Its a brand called "Folk Art" Acrylic paint that's available at Hobby Lobby. I'm sure you can get it elsewhere. It's not real expensive. For the sky I painted it using a light blue latex paint. for the clouds I'm using titanium white and a little bit of Grey for the undersides of the clouds
