PLEASE READ!! , Method 1,spread the bread thinly with marge/butter or olive oil, ONLY ON ONE SIDE, 2, spread thinly wIth marmite or vegimite,ONLY ON ONE SIDE 3, sprincle with black pepper(optional), 4, place in toaster and watch , do not leave the toaster un-attended and remember to do this with cautiuon.
Takes a bit of time to get it but once masterd the marmite will be crispy and the toast not burnt!!

chan2k10:
Please clarify what you mean by "peedo" and "cockend".
Please try to use English as we are more likely to understand you. Many thanks.

Tried it. I think it alters the flavor of the Marmite so i don't care for it.

@silvialain Marmite came first. It's a concentrated yeast extract bread that is spread thinly on bread or toast. It has a salt/savory flavor almost like a soy sauce type flavor. I find it very tasty which is surprising as I am American and most Americans do not care for it. Vegemite is the Australian brand of yeast extract (they copied the English brand Marmite) and 9 out of 10 homes in Australia use Vegemite. I find it to be not as tangy as Marmite and don't prefer it as much.
