@Thegus0 HAHAHAHA. RESEARCH? You serious? You honestly believe the Japanese are conducting research? Children in Japan are being killed by mercury in the tainted whale meat that is put into school lunches! Japanese rarely show the findings of their research, and when they do most respectable scientists claim it's not enough to show true research is being carried out. They might weigh 1-2 of the 1000 whales they slaughter per year, but it baffles me that anyone believes the 'research' bull.

@OsamaHeadshot you are a hupocrite for telling Japan should be ashamed for slaughtering animals when you know very well every country in the world kills animals even yours. Get it through your thick skull, a s the IWC rules allow, Whaling for research in the sanctuary is NOT illegal. Not to mention, the IWC has no legal power to force Japan anything. Japan join the IWC and agrees to the IWC guidelines VOLUNTARILY. Japan can just leave the IWC and ignore them if they want so it is not law.
-
@Thegus0 1. The IWC banned commercial whaling in the Sanctuary. That makes it illegal FOOL. 2. Killing any animal is slaughter. I'm not a hypocrite. I'm a vegan. Feeling dumb now FOOL?

@Thegus0 3. Paul Watson is not wanted by the FBI. He is watched by Interpol at Japan's request From Wki; "In April 2010, the Japanese Coast Guard obtained an arrest warrant for Watson "...on suspicion of ordering sabotage activities against Japan's whaling fleet", and Interpol has listed him as wanted at the request of Japan. The blue notice asks national police forces to provide information on Watson's whereabouts and activities, but does not seek an arrest."

@OsamaHeadshot "The illegal slaughter of endangered species in a sanctuary"
1. it is not illegal, 2. killing animals for food and or research is slaughter? you should be ashamed of yourself for being a hypocrite. 3. Sea Shepherd captain is wanted by the FBI for being an eco-terrorist. your open support of terrorism is shameful. no wonder your ID is Osama.
-
@Thegus0 of course not FOOL. The illegal slaughter of endangered species in a sanctuary specifically created to give them safe haven is an obscene practice that should give you deep national shame - whether the meat is sold or gifted. Hiding commerce behind research is pathetic. Being unable to viably sustain that commerce is laughable.
