What is the league was set up like today, the Rangers would have never gotten Mark Messier because the deal was mostly centered around the fact that the Rangers handed over nearly 6 million in cash to the Oilers.

Because there is no way Bernie, Louie and Steve were worth Messier, not on your life.

@B2B76 We will still beat you to get into the playoffs and as far as I'm concerned you don't have a chance in the division now that the Devils have Kovalchuk signed to a 17 year deal. And yes I have watched the Flyers win the cup in 1975 I was not alive but I did see them win it on the NHL network and understand everything. At least we got to the Stanley Cup finals this year and have the heart and determination to do so. The rangers can suck it all night because they ain't going no where.
