This is a pretty great video, the only real thing I could criticize is the mickey-mousing at 0:55, kind of a pet peeve of mine.
-
just came to check the band out as they are supporting the Black Keys later this year. good stuff.

The Walkmen are the best thing to happen to music since the 90's

Beautiful, Congrats and good Luck!

By that i mean, how did you get cameras in all those places? How many did it take? Or are you just really good at moving around in the middle of the show to get all those interesting angles? haha

This is really excellent...it captures the energy of a live show, which isn't easy to do, and pairs it with a gritty, almost vintage aesthetic that suits the band perfectly. I so impressed. Was it shot on video and then degraded in post, or is this possibly 16mm reversal? Youtube's picture quality makes it a little hard to tell. Also, did you do this in consort with the band, or do you work at the club?

this footage was shot on Canon XL1s. All manipulation was done in post. the band was aware of the filming. nice lads the walkmen.
i enjoyed your "whats in it for me" vid. well done.

thanks for all the positive feedback. This was shot in D.C. a few years back during the Bows & Arrows tour.
