Tzu Chi volunteers have been working in Haiti for 80 days. In the latest news from the quake-torn country, still focusing their efforts on the national soccer stadium in Port-au-Prince, volunteers distributed aid to 998 households on March 31. On April 1, at three separate distributions, a total of 22,000 people benefited from the aid handed out. At all Tzu Chi's free clinics in Haiti, a total of 14,682 patients have been treated. And 650 local volunteers have taken part in training courses. Tzu Chi's first wave of aid relief to Haiti will come to a close on April 3, at a mass prayer meeting at the soccer stadium.
