i dont get why everyone doesnt like chargers because they have 4 doors. have 2 more doors doesnt make it any slower. if your gonna complain about a charger complain about the late 80's one because they put 4 cylinders in them

@grabberbluemach actually,the "original" charger WAS meant to be a sport version of the Coronet( basically a fastback coronet coupe )....in 1968 it grew into its own seperate line( the 1st version used coronet sheet metal from the front bumper back to the rear of the doors).....

@88fierogtp i dont really care, i think its about time america makes another car that is ment to look at, styles change with some carsand the old chargers that everyone knows and loves were 18ft long and brobly didnt weight that much less then these ( and i am well aware these weight in the 4,000 range). but still id rather have a car that people want to look at then a car that can turn corners really good on my way the the movies.

@curtmaster3001 yeah and my mother's mini-van hauls ass compared to the cars that wore Charger badges in the 80's. No one here is refering to those. We are arguing that a true Charger should have two doors and never be a sedan. That aside, no one is saying that the new chargers aren't fast, except that since they are so heavy they also handle about as well as your over-weight girlfriend weaving her way through a living room towards the refrigerator.

@88fierogtp your right that tp or so extra pounds and 170 mph top speed is a killer compared to the turbo 4 cyl of the 90's chargers
